Info about the artist



Shira Neiss is a freelance illustrator based in NYC, who grew up in the mostly underrated borough of Brooklyn. She is a graduate of the School of Visual Arts, with a BFA in Illustration. Shira is inspired by a wide variety of media including old books, history, fashion, musical theater, and all manners of pop culture. She is an insatiably curious person who loves to acquire in depth knowledge of subjects and then apply it to her work. Shira tells her stories through a fusion of illustrative and sequential work, creating unique formats born out of her distinctive interests.
