Shira Neiss is a freelance illustrator from NYC, who grew up in the mostly underrated borough of Brooklyn. Always the class artist, Shira took AP Art in High School and spent two years in Hunter College as a Fine Arts major. Although she enjoyed painting seven-foot-tall abstract canvases, she fell in love with Illustration after taking an intensive summer course at Parsons School of Design. After much deliberation, Shira switched to the School of Visual Arts and is being whipped into shape by her professors who always demand a second reading in every drawing.
